Hudson Valley Ambulatory Surgery Welcomes New ENT Surgeon
Middletown, New York (PRWEB) September 05, 2013 -- Hudson Valley Ambulatory Surgery (HVAS) announced today the addition of Richard R. DeMaio, MD to its roster of esteemed physicians. Dr. DeMaio is a board-certified otolaryngologist-head and neck surgeon.
A well-respected surgeon in Dutchess and Orange Counties, Dr. DeMaio has been practicing general otolaryngology for over ten years. He specializes in pediatric otolaryngology, endoscopic sinus surgery, and obstructive sleep apnea and snoring surgery.
Dr. DeMaio is a graduate of Brown University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery internship and residency in otolaryngology at the University of Rochester. Prior to that, Dr. DeMaio was a surgical research fellow and clinical fellow at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Strome Laboratory and at Harvard University Medical School where he was involved in laryngeal transplantation studies.
