Goodman also highlights the importance of building a personal brand, and working on building a fantastic reputation.
He said: "It may seem like a dream now, but you need to get to the position where your audience members are actively looking forward to receiving your emails. As you can imagine, this will work wonders for your conversion rates.
"Building your reputation is simple, you just need to deliver what you say you will, solve your audience’s problems with a great product/service, entertain them where possible, and share your knowledge effectively. Oh yes, and only send mail to those people who have given you permission to do so."
