High country grunge musician Keith Burrows has released the video to go along with his stunning new single, “Grand Canyon.” The video was filmed on location at the Grand Canyon in Arizona and in many spots throughout Utah in early summer and features many incredible locations that go along with the love story heartedly sang in the song. It can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfJhV7U4__E.
With a unique style reminiscent of Seattle’s grunge scene mixed with high country tunes, Keith has developed a sound that sets him apart, and in many cases ahead, of musicians looking to break into the mainstream.
“Grand Canyon” has a classic country twang that keeps emotions flowing as listeners hear the pleas of a man that would walk the Grand Canyon for just one more evening with his love.
Hailing from the West Slope of the Colorado Rockies, Burrows proclaims he was raised by killer bees and fire ants. He picked up drumsticks as in 7th grade and played with several bands throughout the 1970s. In the early 1990s Burrows began strumming the six-string and soon raised a cope of boys to jam with. They have been playing together ever since and have released one album under the name “The Hills of Texas.”
Recently, Burrows teamed up with original Outlaws pianist Terry Hough to put together a second album which is due to be released in winter 2013. This album will include the tune “Grand Canyon.” They are working feverishly to complete and mix the new country album at a studio in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Burrows relates their new tunes to the likes of Southern rockers the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
California where he enjoys playing shows at local venues. A US tour is currently being planned which will cover much of the western United States.
