Private Investigators Brighton Comment on New Poirot Novel by UK Author
(PRWEB UK) 6 September 2013 -- According to recent Reuters article by Paul Casciato dated 3 September 2013: Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot back in new novel by UK author, Sophie Hannah will be giving Agatha Christie’s Hercule Poirot a new life when she revives his character in a continuation novel.
The Reuters report by Paul Casciato goes on to say that although Poirot will be in the new novel he will have to do without Hastings and Japp. Bestselling author Sophie Hannah and Mathew Prichard, Agatha Christie’s grandson and chairman of Agatha Christie Limited, decided not to include the pair and Hannah said:
"I think we all felt that if Hastings and Japp were in it, it would be too much like trying to write an Agatha Christie novel,"
"What I'm trying to do is write a Poirot novel that both fits in with the other novels, but does its own thing as well."
Other novels that have revived iconic characters and been very successful include James Bond and Jeeves and Wooster novels written by Sebastian Faulks and another James Bond writer William Boyd.
Detectives from Private Investigators Brighton are delighted that a new novel featuring the 1920’s Belgian Detective, Poirot will be coming out next year. Private Investigators Brighton offer many private detective and investigation services which include surveillance operations, tracing missing persons, background checks and many other investigative services. Investigators at Private Investigators Brighton believe they are more akin to Poirot by letting the little grey cells do the work more than that of James Bond’s more vigorous techniques. By carrying out a private and confidential confrontation with clients, detectives can find out the root cause of clients concerns and obtain their true expectations.
Roger Hiscock, spokesperson from Private Investigators Brighton said: “Everyone loves Poirot and his eccentric gentlemanly ways, here at Private Investigators Brighton we have a special fondness for him as we not only share the same profession we also work from a wonderful 1920’s building in Brighton.”
“We have been waiting for the return of Poirot as we felt it was a foregone conclusion since we have already had another fantastic private detective revived in James Bond novels written by different authors.”
