HotDocs Releases Hosted Document Generation Platform
Lindon, UT and Edinburgh, Scotland (PRWEB) September 09, 2013 -- HotDocs Corporation, the global leader in document generation technology, today announced the release of HotDocs Cloud Services, a hosted document generation platform that dramatically improves the quality of an organization’s transactional legal documents and forms while significantly decreasing the time and expense required to produce them. HotDocs Cloud Services is targeted at organizations that need browser-based document generation, would prefer a hosted (subscription-based) solution, and want to integrate HotDocs interviews into their existing web applications. The new technology, which has been in beta testing for more than a year, is now available to customers, system integration partners, and OEMs.
HotDocs Cloud Services is part of the HotDocs integrated stack of software technologies, which includes the industry leading development environment for both word processor documents and graphical forms (PDF forms with fields and checkboxes) as well as deployment technologies that enable system users to access HotDocs process apps (sometimes called templates) in any environment, including desktop, on-premise server, and now, in the cloud.
“Thousands of organizations already use HotDocs to generate complex, transactional legal documents,” commented Bryan Bailey, the company’s UK-based Director of SaaS Products. “And the HotDocs value proposition has always been clear—better documents in less time and for less expense than virtually any other method. HotDocs Cloud Services changes the game by facilitating the rapid embedding of HotDocs interviews (the user-facing part of a process app) into an organization’s own web environments—anything from a page on a corporate site to a BPM-defined workflow—and enables organizations to license HotDocs on a subscription basis.“
A key design feature of HotDocs Cloud Services enables transmission of data between a HotDocs interview embedded in an organization’s web application and Hotdocs Cloud Services without long-term storage of sensitive data on a HotDocs server. Once the engine has utilized a dataset for the purpose of generating a document, the dataset is deleted. This approach complies with the data-protection policies of most risk-averse organizations.
HotDocs Cloud Services is hosted in Microsoft’s Windows Azure cloud and is available immediately.
