Measuring Productivity and Diligence of Employees Even Easier with Two New Features from MySammy

Attendance and Hour Graphs add new ways to assess performance.

Productivity management software provider MySammy today announced the rollout of two new features to its cloud-based software that allows human resource staff and managers to measure the diligence of their employees. The new Attendance Graph shows the pace of work activities on a computer while on the clock, while the Hour Graph shows the high and low of computer hours throughout a day.

While many companies require employees to physically be at a work location during certain hours, most do not have quantifiable ways to measure and judge their productivity. MySammy’s Attendance Graph not only shows what times a user started and ended their workday, it also displays in an easy-to-understand visual the intensity of computer activity throughout the span of a day. Taking into account factors such as keystrokes and mouse clicks per minute, users and managers can see green bars indicating activity. The Attendance Graph is also a perfect way to instill accountability for remote telecommuters.

The Hour Graph joins other features of MySammy, giving managers different ways to assess the diligence of employees, by seeing what hours of the workday users are most productive. It is a common belief that people are more productive during certain hours; now both users and managers can quantify exactly what hours are the most productive. If activity is highest during certain hours (say 11am) and lowest during other hours (say 2pm), steps can be taken to analyze why and how to boost performance during lulls.

“MySammy gives both workers and their managers another tool they can use to find holes in their productivity,” says Edward M. Kwang, President of MySammy. “New features such as the Attendance Graph and the Hour Graph act as compliments to other measures a company might have in place, such as a time clock. In light of recent controversies surrounding telecommuting, MySammy provides additional reassurance that employees are hard at work.”

MySammy is free for up to 4 users and installs quickly in minutes. It records the minimum data required for reporting while respecting the privacy of users. Paid plans with additional features and support for more than 4 users start from only $7 per user per month.
