Minted’s exclusive process hand-presses real gold or silver foil onto photo cards, interweaving a shiny and luxurious foil design with the printed photograph. All of the designs will be offered in a choice of gold or silver foil and customers will also have a choice of a range of digital color palettes underneath the foil stamp. The new assortment includes designs for baby boys and girls. Like all of Minted’s birth announcements, parents can customize the card with their child’s photograph, name, and key birth details, which will be digitally printed. All of the designs are printed on Minted’s Signature Paper, which is the thickest in the photo card industry at 15.5 points; its 30 percent cotton content adds a luxurious, soft texture usually reserved for fine stationery. Foil stamped birth announcements will retail for $1.98 each for a quantity of 100.
