After confronting the death of her husband, Lynn Brake was witness to the power of God in her life.
Her husband’s difficult journey through seven years of leukemia took its toll on both of them. Brake was inspired to write about her experience in her new book, Joy Comes in the Mourning, in the hope of helping others who have experienced a tragedy of their own. The book is an easy to read guide to coping.
“We all experience tragedy at some point,” said Lynn. “It’s important to find someone we can turn to in times of need.”
In her heartbreaking yet uplifting story of courage, faith and trust in the Lord, she shares her husband’s battle with Leukemia. Their spiritual, emotional and physical struggle changed her life, but she has found joy with God.
“I want to help readers sustain authentic hope and healing even in the most difficult of times,” said Lynn.
