Sarah Myers of High Five Cakes Joins the Icing Images® Spellbinders® Design Team
Winchester, VA (PRWEB) September 10, 2013 -- Cake artist, Sarah Myers, of High Five Cakes in Waverly, Ohio recently joined Icing Images® prestigious list of professional cake decorators endorsing the Spellbinders® Sweet Accents™ die cutting and embossing system.
A new Sweet Accents kit, the Sarah Myers Edition, now bears Myers name and reflects her preferred choices of embossing folders and die cutters packaged with the Sweet Accents system, the only food-safe die cutting and embossing system on the market.

A former fine art student with sculpting and painting experience, Myers worked in the corporate world but one day decided to quit her job and apply her artistic abilities to cakes. She easily adapted her sculpting skills to modeling chocolate, fondant and gum paste, succeeding in creating professional looking cakes without having ever taken a cake decorating class. Three and one-half years later, Myers is a rising cake star.
Myers’ accolades include several wins at live cake challenges such as the Garden State Cake Show and National Capital Area State Show.
At the National Capital Area State Show this past March, Myers met Icing Images owner, Deborah Coughlin, when competitors were issued the additional challenge of incorporating masculine elements in to their cake designs. To satisfy the requirements, Myers requested Coughlin print out masculine edible images. Myers’ interest in Icing Images products grew from there and the business relationship between the company and Myers blossomed.

Myers recently published a tutorial in edible frames, layering various iDesigns edible prints cut from the Sweet Accents machine and featuring her own wedding photo. Many of her cake designs feature Icing Images Premium Icing Sheets™ used in a variety of ways: edible banners, signs, messages, picture frames and cake toppers.
The Sweet Accents system was specifically designed for Icing Images by Spellbinders, crafted with die cutters manufactured from stainless steel coated with Teflon. The system consists of a non-electric plate compression device, various sandwiching plates, die cutters and embossing folders. Icing Images customers use this product to work with Premium Icing Sheets.
Myers will be demonstrating Icing Images products throughout the United States at cake shows and at days of sharing with local cake club chapters.
