Harriet Langford, Ray C. Anderson Foundation Trustee and daughter of the late Ray C. Anderson, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for Sustainable Atlanta, an Atlanta based organization that direct its efforts toward environmental stewardship in Georgia.
Suzanne Burnes, executive director of Sustainable Atlanta, stated, “Sustainable Atlanta was thrilled to welcome Harriet to its Board of Directors this summer. We look forward to the passion and energy she will bring to our organization.”
Sustainable Atlanta focuses its work in metro Atlanta, nurturing a balance between environmental stewardship, economic development and social equity. The non-profit organization works to connect public, private and community organizations and to leverage the work of individual groups to advance Atlanta’s sustainability story.
