Sonny’s Enterprises Inc. chooses ECENTA America as its implementation partner and completes the first phase of its Customer Relationship Management implementation with SAP Web Channel Experience Management 2.0 providing a state of the art B2B web commerce experience for their customers.

The Client: Sonny’s is the largest manufacturer of conveyorized car wash systems in the world. Sonny’s doesn’t merely assemble systems, they design and manufacture them right here in the USA. Sonny’s customers get the benefit of better equipment quality, delivery and service as well as instant market responsiveness with new products and improvements. Sonny’s is known for its stability and financial strength. Starting in the industry in 1949, the company is still owned and operated by the same family and is debt free. Due to that strength the 900 page car wash catalog is supported with over $10MM in inventory and 12,000 stockable items. That’s a huge inventory commitment to their customers in support of their operations.

The Problem: Sonny’s previous web commerce solution was not integrated with their SAP ECC system. Consequently all orders coming through the web were emailed to the Customer Service Representatives and manually keyed into SAP ECC. The difficulty of synchronizing the item data, pricing and stocking levels between the different systems caused many inaccurate orders and much wasted time manually correcting orders. The previous web commerce solution also did not support Sonny’s future goals of CRM Sales and Marketing functions in order to give their customers the best customer experience.

The Solution: ECENTA implemented SAP CRM with WCEM 2.0 to handle all web commerce and deliver full integration with SAP ECC items, pricing and inventory.

The Result: ECENTA completed the SAP CRM and WCEM 2.0 deployment with full integration to SAP ECC. Sonny’s can now maintain all data in ECC with significantly reduced efforts and all web orders now flow smoothly directly into ECC for fulfillment and shipping. This deployment allows Sonny’s customers a superior customer experience and easier order creation while increasing internal operational efficiencies. ECENTA and Sonny’s are now embarking on Phase 2 of their CRM deployment with CRM Sales and Marketing Functions and other additional functionalities.
