September 12: New Research to be Released on Children’s Giving Habits and How to Raise a Child who Gives Back
(PRWEB) September 09, 2013 -- On Thursday, at 12:00 pm ET at the National Press Club, the United Nations Foundation and the Women’s Philanthropy Institute at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy will launch a new report on the charitable habits of children.
The new report helps shed light on the question: “How can I raise my children to be charitable?” The report also investigates how many children give, ways in which parents teach children about giving, and whether demographic differences exist in how children give. The report was conducted by the Women’s Philanthropy Institute at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and supported by the UN Foundation.
The press event will include leaders from these organizations, as well as local parents and children that represent the report’s findings.
