With a track record of consistently identifying “the next big thing” in digital entertainment content and successfully creating and managing Synacor’s broad range of content partner and vendor relationships, Ted May will take part in a discussion covering the opportunities for monetizing video on multiple platforms. The panel will also cover the kinds of content that offers the best potential for monetization, the complications brought on by fragmentation and the role TV Everywhere plays in the larger video everywhere landscape.

Prior to his current position, May held positions at America Online, Inc. and Cablevision Systems Corp. During his tenure at AOL, Ted led business strategy for the AOL Service, broadband, home networking and the first wave of digital media services and, as a result, the company’s subscriber base increased from 10 million to 32 million customers. While at Cablevision, he was instrumental in the launch of the company’s first Internet service offerings including broadband, interactive services, and first forays into DBS. Ted is an experienced speaker, having recently presented at the ScreenPlays Media Innovations Summit, Digital Hollywood, CONNECTIONS: The Digital Living Conference and CTAM.
