Jay UNO and Slick Fif are rappers from Brooklyn, NY out of Red Cafe's the Shakedown movement. Growing up in New York City, the birth place of Hip Hop; Jay UNO and Slick Fif were engulfed in the music, culture, and style of Hip Hop all their lives. Both started rapping at a very young age, but really started to take the craft seriously in high school. Though they are well versed in the tradition of Hip Hop culture, they know it is a different game today. An artist can no longer just be the best on their block but needs to differentiate themselves from the competition with cutting edge beats, inspiring live performances, and provocative visuals. Jay UNO and Slick Fif achieve this distinction with their upcoming project "Triple Threat".
