P2 joined 1500 walkers and 800 dogs to raise more than $170,000 to support PAWS.

P2 Solutions Group was a proud Defender level sponsor of this year’s PAWSwalk held at King County’s Marymoor Park on September 7th. P2’s team “P2 for PAWS” joined 1500 walkers and 800 dogs to raise more than $170,000 to support PAWS in providing food, shelter, and loving care for the over 6000 dogs, cats and orphaned or injured wildlife that will come to PAWS this year.

Tonjia Borland, P2’s Director of Business Development and PAWSwalk team captain, stated “It was a fantastic event and a wonderful opportunity to join together with other community members to support the great work that PAWS does.”

Established in 1967, Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a Northwest, regional organization dedicated to helping animals. PAWS is a private, non-profit organization that relies on donations from individuals and corporations to fund their companion animal shelters and wild life rehabilitation center. They are headquartered in Lynnwood, Washington and have a satellite adoption center called PAWS Cat City in the University District in Seattle.
