Weblight helps the University of Bedfordshire reduce energy with full lighting replacement
Luton, Bedfordshire (PRWEB UK) 12 September 2013 -- Weblight has been chosen to undertake a lighting replacement programme for the University of Bedfordshire within their Putteridge Bury Campus, a country house located on the outskirts of Luton, Bedfordshire.
Light plays a significant role here in creating a pleasant environment where students and teachers can interact and engage in education. Weblight is supplying and installing both fittings and sensor controls within the corridors, classrooms and communal areas of the University. This will include some stripping out and rewiring of existing cabling.
Lighting accounts for approx. 30% of the University’s energy costs, and Weblight will help reduce this, making suggestions for energy savings throughout the project.
About Weblight: Weblight provides lighting design, installation and maintenance solutions to the Retail, Healthcare, Commercial, Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics and Education sectors, whilst also working in partnership with many Facilities Management companies.
