Interdean Reviews Education Options for British Expats
(PRWEB UK) 12 September 2013 -- It has been reported in Expat Forum that over the past ten years the number of British schools worldwide has risen from 2,600 to 6,300, providing expats with more choice than ever. The British style of education has always been popular and boasting a particularly high number of expats, the United Arab Emirates has the highest number of UK schools of any foreign country at 370. A prominent example is Marlborough College which opened in Malaysia last year with 300 pupils. It now educates 600 students with this figure expected to rise to a full capacity of 1,350 by 2018. A number of highly regarded British schools and universities also run summer schools abroad.
Providing a full overseas moving service for families headed towards new destinations, Interdean is dedicated to helping customers settle in to their chosen locations. As such, the latest news was of particular interest to the team. A representative explains the value of wider education options abroad.
“Whilst opening up exciting new opportunities, moving countries can prove to be an unsettled time for all the family, especially children, but having a choice of British schools can be a comfort. For example someone moving to the United Arab Emirates can take advantage of a high quality of education as well as knowing their child will be amongst other English speaking children, enabling them to make friends more quickly. With demand increasing, we would expect this trend to continue with more UK schools popping up in a variety of locations.”
