The first edition of the Global PPC Manager course - a Yandex approved training course for international marketers – saw 100% of the attendees pass the Yandex.Expert exam, giving them a globally recognised certificate as a Yandex PPC specialist.
The 3 day course delivered by Yandex training partner Webcertain is designed to arm both agencies and brands with an in-depth knowledge of and practical skills for running paid search campaigns on Russian search engine Yandex, as well as Chinese Baidu and South Korean Naver.
The course content is presented through a series of interactive seminars and workshops and on the final day all attendees have the chance to test their freshly gained knowledge of Yandex. Direct – Yandex’s PPC advertising platform - by attempting the Yandex.Expert test which has only recently become available in English language.
The Yandex.Expert test is much more difficult to pass than the Google Adwords and BingAds equivalents, making the 100% pass rate even more outstanding and proving the course to be a success.
The course is a result of 9 months close co-operation between Yandex and Webcertain employees to design a format and materials which would allow marketers to gain enough information to leave with the skills to start running their own advertising campaigns on Yandex. It incorporates Baidu and Naver to give delegates a more rounded international PPC experience.
Justyna Wilner, a Moscow trained Yandex.Direct specialist and one of the course tutors comments, “With Yandex, Baidu and Naver all holding the lion’s share of the search market in their local markets, it is now more crucial than ever for international companies interested in strengthening their position in those markets to think outside the Google box and explore those immense opportunities by equipping their marketing professionals with the skills to run cost-effective campaigns."
The course takes place in the spectacular, 5 star 1898 Hotel located in La Ramblas - the street known as the heartbeat of Barcelona. Commenting on the training location, Course Leader Andy Atkins-Krüger adds: “We had an option to deliver the courses in the UK, either at our offices or at the clients’ premises however it’s a well proven fact that learning away from your workplace and combining training with pleasure brings much better results in a shorter time. For this reason, we settled on the idea of leading the course in Barcelona. Knowing that you can learn effective advertising techniques during the day and take flamenco classes at night makes this location very attractive for many!”
