It is a great celebration of the quality of our local food producers and our top chef talent.
Ashburton, Devon (PRWEB UK) 10 September 2013
Now in its third year, the Ashburton Food & Drink Festival has been described as the ‘perfect food festival’ and on Saturday 14th September, 2013 the town centre will be transformed again into a wonderful street market with a carnival atmosphere.
This free food festival offers something for everyone, with over 50 stallholders showcasing the quality local and regional produce that is held in such high regard.
The Cookery Theatre, organised by the Ashburton Cookery School, brings together Devon’s top celebrity chefs such as Michael Caines, Chris & James Tanner and Peter Gorton to display their culinary skills and passion for Devon produce.
Chef Director of the Ashburton Cookery School Darrin Hosegrove says ‘This festival has really developed into something special. It is a great celebration of the quality of our local food producers and our top chef talent. The whole family can enjoy great food, free entertainment and explore our vibrant town - it really is the best of Devon on display.’
To make the day stress-free, a Park & Ride service runs throughout the day with regular mini-bus runs from out of town parking direct to the heart of the festival.
