Napa Native Returns to Serve the Community, Autism Spectrum Therapies Named “Family Favorite”

Growing up in Napa made a lasting impression on Jocelyn Thompson and now she is making a lasting impression on Napa's autism community.

I have always considered Napa my home and I love that my work allowed me to return and serve the community that I hold so dear.

Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), an agency that provides comprehensive autism services, began serving Alameda, Contra Costa, and the greater San Jose area in 2011, and has now expanded its offerings to include Napa and Solano counties. AST provides support for individuals with autism from infancy through adulthood, as well as their parents, families, schools, and communities.

AST's Clinical Director of Northern California, Jocelyn Thompson was born and raised in Napa and graduated from Napa High, “I have always considered Napa my home and I love that my work allowed me to return and serve the community that I hold so dear.” Jocelyn's role has clearly made an impression on the families she serves. As AST celebrates over two years serving the Bay Area, Bay Area Parent magazine announced that AST was voted by parents as a Family Favorite in their annual Best of the Best issue. "Working with the autism community is incredibly rewarding and we truly appreciate this recognition from our families."
