Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 12, 2013
CE Supply Store is committed to donating between $25,000 and $100,000 to support research and treatment at City of Hope for men’s and women’s cancers. To help reach that goal faster, and to support Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, CE Supply is doubling its September donations for products supporting men’s cancers research.
City of Hope is a leading research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Recognized worldwide for its compassionate patient care, it has been designated as a comprehensive cancer center, the highest recognition bestowed by the National Cancer Institute.
Normally, for every item purchased from its “Making the Case for Hope” product line, CE Supply Store donates $1 or $2, depending on the product, for cancer research and treatment. The donation is ear-marked either for men’s or for women’s cancers based on the insignia shown on the product: Products with mustaches benefit men’s cancers research, including prostate cancer, while products with ribbons benefit women’s cancers research. CE Supply will make these donations for all products sold through December 31, 2013, but during September, it will double the amount donated for men’s cancers research.
“The whole company really wants to hit our $100,000 goal this year. With September being Prostate Cancer Awareness month, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make a big push,” said Jonathan Joseph, Senior Sales Director.
Products that qualify for donation-doubling during Prostate Cancer Awareness month include the Ventura case for iPad (generation 2 and later); the Forza armband for iPhone 4 and 5; and the Segundo wallet case, also for iPhone 5.
The Ventura is a black leather case for the iPad 2, iPad 3 and New iPad with Retina Display. The case offers all the same great features as CE Supply’s best-selling Toblino 3 case. In addition, the case sports a debossed mustache in the lower corner, to show support for the fight against men’s cancers.
The Forza Armband, for the iPhone 4, 4S, 5, and 5S is a black and gray armband that lets users walk, run, and work-out with their phones.
“Forza’s the perfect product for people who participate in the different walks and runs to support cancer research and treatment. Segundo works great for guys who prefer to be lower key. Both products capture everything ‘Making the Case’ is about: turning useful, stylish products into something with significance. It lets people show their commitment, and generate the kind of awareness that motivates others to get involved,” Joseph said.
