Week 2 of NFL Season Opens with Brady, Patriots Hosting Jets
(PRWEB) September 12, 2013 -- Week1 of the 2013 NFL season is in the books and all 32 teams have opened the year. The opening week of the season was dominated by drama-filled affairs, 12 of which were decided by seven points or less.
Week 2 opens up with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots hosting the New York Jets on “Thursday Night Football,” and an online leader in printable NFL games and spreadsheets has everything a fan needs to be ready for the action.
“There were plenty of nail-biters and upsets in Week 1,” said PrintableBrackets.net spokesperson Zaniel Worth. “Teams that escaped with a victory are on top of the world while those who were turned backed are desperate for a win in Week 2.”
Quarterback Geno Smith picked up the win in his NFL debut as the Jets shocked the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 18-17, on a last-second field goal. The Patriots also needed a last-second field goal to rally for a 23-21 victory over the Bills in Buffalo.
“The Pats are banged up and the Jets are full of confidence after last Sunday’s win,” said Worth. “Thursday night’s game may not be the blowout most expected before the start of the season.”
