To support its recent affiliate launch in conjunction with Clickbank, the PC HealthBoost™ software affiliate program has created an affiliate training course and media training course on the Boost Affiliates website. The course aims to cover every aspect of putting together a successful affiliate campaign—including a complete start-up guide for new software affiliates starting from the ground up.
The media course was put together for new affiliates, as well as for affiliates who are not as successful as they would like to be. For example, super-affiliates-turned-product owners Peter Dunbar and Amit Mehta teach affiliates the necessary elements of a high-converting registry cleaner landing page. They also provide two files of high-converting keywords for affiliates running paid search campaigns.
The first thing affiliates see is a welcome from the two owners. Immediately below that is a link to the Boost Affiliates Clickbank link generator. New affiliates who are ready to get started but who are new to Clickbank can instantly create a valid link to ensure they receive credit for every sale.
The link generator also includes a field for an (optional) tracking ID—something many affiliates that are more experienced may find useful. A short Clickbank tutorial video created by Dunbar is also included.
The training section includes links to 14 landing pages that have been tested and optimized for maximum conversions. Three of the pages are designed to sell PC Health Boost in Germany, where the product has picked up a following.
The course also provides instruction for every new affiliate who wants to learn how to create a profitable website or engage in SEO. These instructions include outsourcing tips for SEO and general campaign maintenance. Mehta points to outsourcing as a major key in scaling a campaign for maximum profitability.
During his height as an affiliate, Mehta pulled a net profit of $70k-$80k every month from his affiliate sales. A year before, he had been pulling in 1/10th that amount. He says that once he learned how to scale, he increased his profits by a factor of ten—all while increasing his workload very little.
“The key is to find something that works great on a small scale first,” says Mehta. “Do NOT discount your small successes—those are the building blocks of super affiliate success.”
The training also shares co-owner Dunbar's high-converting keyword lists. As an affiliate, he kept this list secret. As a product owner, Dunbar feels that it is a win-win situation to out these keywords to new affiliates.
PC HealthBoost™ was released on the Clickbank network on September 3, 2013. The software became
Clickbank's most popular registry cleaner (and sixth-most popular software) in less than a week. Mehta and Dunbar prefer the Clickbank network because they say it has never missed a payment—something rare among affiliate networks.
