According to the Lincolnite in an article published on September 10 titled ‘CCTV Appeal for Witnesses of Attempted Robbery at Lincoln Shop,’ police have released the CCTV image in a call for more information.
The incident, which occurred at approximately 10:44pm at the Londis store on Newark Road in Lincoln, saw no money taken from the store, although a male member of staff suffered from a blow to the head and required treatment for minor injuries. After the incident, three men aged between 22 and 23 were arrested in connection with the incident.
The released CCTV footage shows several people passing the front of the shop before and after the incident, and so police are eager to get in contact with those shown in the footage that have not yet been traced.
