New York, NY (PRWEB) September 12, 2013
New York's next generation real estate site Blocksy.com is announcing today the release of a significant new upgrade to its homepage design as well as a key growth milestone, 1 million users on its site.
The new homepage is intended to showcase Blocksy's commitment to building a much better real estate search experience by, among other things, employing industry-leading design practices, as well as its determination to create the most useful real estate site in New York.
"We're simultaneously committed to creating the best possible features for New York real estate professionals and and the best possible experience for consumers," says Jason White, Blocksy's CEO. White notes, for example, that "the new homepage brings more useful information to users, in this case before they even begin their search."
In the short time since Blocksy launched in 2011, the company has become one of New York's largest independent real estate sites and forged relationships with the majority of New York's top large and small brokerages. It attributes this success in part to its growth, emphasis on fresh, accurate data, and the unique features it offers both to real estate agents and consumers.
One such feature is Blocksy Tours, a free service that lets agents compile and share attractive slideshows of listings with clients and on social media. Another is Blocksy's new PowerShare feature which lets New York agents share specialized Blocksy links and earn free site-wide advertising when their clients, friends or prospects visit Blocksy through those links.
"All of which is just the beginning," says White. "We're determined to make Blocksy the most thoughtful, useful and beautiful real estate site, not just by New York standards, but by any standards. We won't stop until that's done."
Blocksy.com is wholly owned by Blocksy Inc., a Delaware Corporation. Blocksy.com is one of New York City's largest real estate sites, offering comprehensive, real time sales and rental listings, property records, borough and neighborhood market reports, and a host of unique features and services for New York, real estate agents, brokerages and consumers.
