The BATTLEGROUNDS™ Mud Run and Gold’s Gym have teamed up to offer a free class to help runners prepare for The BATTLEGROUNDS Mud Run Exclusive race on October 5. The training class will take place Saturday, September 21 at the Gold’s Gym St. Peters, MO location from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Billing itself as The Battlegrounds Build-Up, the fitness session is available to Gold’s Gym members and non-members alike, and will be split into two sections. The first half will feature two aerobic sections to challenge cardio fitness and stamina. The second half of the class will be a 30-minute workout combining lower body boxing and fitness training.
“We are very excited to partner with The BATTLEGROUNDS mud run to get participants ready for the run,” said Michelle Micheletti, Senior Marketing Manager Gold’s Gym. “We encourage anyone and everyone to come join the fun for the day, and the fun of the event.”
After the class session, runners can test their strength on a temporary obstacle course, set up on the parking lot at the gym. The obstacle course will be open from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Participants will be timed, and the best time will win a free Gold’s Gym membership and free entry to The BATTLEGROUNDS event October 5.
