Power Practical Adds Reps Across the US to Support Growth of the Award-Winning PowerPot V
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) September 12, 2013 -- Power Practical has signed several rep groups across the US to represent its lineup of power products. Founded in 2011, the Salt Lake company first made waves last year with the introduction of the award-winning PowerPot. The portable generator doubles as a cooking pot, giving consumers the ability to charge any USB device while boiling water. The device made its commercial launch in early 2013, following a successful Winter OR debut.
After gaining initial traction with specialty shops across the US, Power Practical has turned to some of the industry’s leading rep groups to bring the PowerPot to the next level. On Thursday, the company announced signings with Pacific Rep Works, Eastern Outdoor Sales, Campbell Sports, Axis Sports Group, Hopp Outdoors Inc., John Swartz, Fred Guigas and Elevation Sales.
"We're very pleased to be working with Power Practical," said Mitch Lemas of Pacific Rep Works, who will represent the PowerPot in Washington, Oregon and Montana. "Increasingly, consumers expect their connected devices to accompany them while they're on the go, including while enjoying the outdoors. Power Practical's industry leading and award-winning products are exactly what our customers need to power their mobile lifestyles. We're excited to be part of such a dynamic company and look forward to a long partnership."
The signings follow an impressive showing at this year's Summer Outdoor Retailer, where the company debuted three new products and received a forthcoming award for the PowerPot V. The new offerings consisted of the Practical Meter, an innovative power meter for portable generators, and two new batteries.
"The PowerPot is such an innovative product because of its dual-utility. It's had a lot of attention and everyone that sees it gets excited about it. Partnering with reps is a critical step to expanding our sales team and helping retailers all over the US better understand the utility and value they get out of the PowerPot," said Matt Ford, CEO of Power Practical. "This move will help us educate the retail channel about all of our products, which help people generate power, know their power and store power."
