Everyone at ASIS will have the opportunity to meet members of the elite G4S Custom Protection Officer® team and speak to G4S senior executives who are responsible for helping to shape the future of security. Experts from technology and integration to specific security disciplines including government services, chemical/petrochemical, healthcare and higher education will be on hand to answer questions and provide insight on what’s new in their sectors.

•Campus safety and security professionals are invited to join a seminar by John Pack, G4S Director of Higher Education Security. Pack along with Chauncey Bowers, Central Piedmont Community College Executive Director of Security & Emergency Management and Michael Salatino, Benedictine University Chief of University Police. The seminar: “Strategies for a Safer Campus” will take place Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Room S501a.
•Ben Scaglione, G4S Director of Healthcare Security Services, will be a featured speaker in an ASIS pre-seminar program held at McCormick Place. The one-day program from 8 a.m. -5 p.m. on Monday, September 23, will educate attendees on future expectations, new and proven security practices and security officer effectiveness in the healthcare environment. Ben will speak during Session II from 9:40-10:40 on the topic of “Securing the Patient Experience.”
•Nikki Gordon, G4S Director of Talent Acquisition, is inviting ASIS attendees to a seminar titled: "The Dos and Don’ts of Using LinkedIn" on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Nikki specializes in developing strategic recruitment plans and talent pipelines that encompass highly effective talent sourcing, social recruiting, and employment branding. Nikki will cover what information to include or exclude on LinkedIn; how to manage settings and best practices for recommendations, endorsements and interacting with peers and competitors.
