Updates Brand and Refines Services to Reflect Changing Needs of Clients

Integrated Benefit Services (IBS) today announced it has rebranded as Pentra. In response to the changing needs of its clients in a post-healthcare reform environment, the Company has launched a new website and refined its service offerings. The new name, which is based on “penta” reflects the Company’s enduring value proposition.

“The industry is changing and we have changed with it. However, our name and our website didn’t reflect how much we had evolved,” said Gordon St. John, president of Pentra. “Pentra is a strong brand that reflects our focus, process and values. It’s a symbol of how we have recommitted ourselves to investing in our people, our knowledge, our company and our clients.”

Founded in 1987 by Nicholas H. LaMotte, the Company has a long track record of success serving clients across a wide variety of industries. Today, Pentra works with organizations to provide health care and employee benefit programs for employers based in 13 states with employees working in over 40 states. According to Mr. Lamotte, “the Company has been built on a foundation of five core values that include integrity, excellence, compassion, dedication and accountability.”

As Pentra, the Company will continue to bring the same client dedication that it has for over 27 years to address the key benefit challenges employers face today, such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the rising cost of health care and employee appreciation of benefit plans.

“It’s no longer possible for employers to simply purchase products to solve benefit problems,” said St. John. “We partner with our clients to understand their organization and to make strategic recommendations that will support their goals and objectives.
