The 58-room Amrise Hotel, while it may not have won a single award, has been voted by budget travelers as the cheapest hotel in Geylang. From US$34 per night, the rooms are understandably no-frills type with practical amenities such as LCD TV with cable channels, attached shower and free WiFi.
Lastly, with the 168-room Fragrance Hotel Ruby a short 5-minute walk from the Aljunied MRT train station, it is not surprising for the hotel to win the most convenient location accolade in Geylang. The room rates start from US$52 per night and are equipped with flat-screen TV with cable channels, attached shower, hairdryer and WiFi access.
