“Leading Edge”, Hosted by Jimmy Johnson for Public Television, Introduces New Segments on the Growth of the Electric Car Market
(PRWEB) September 16, 2013 -- Air pollution, rising gas prices, and, dependency on foreign oil are just some of the factors leading to the growth of the electric car market. In recent years, the U.S. has placed a large emphasis on “going green” and protecting the environment. Producing no tailpipe pollutants, electric cars not only create a cleaner environment, the subsequent environmental benefits increase the respiratory health of individuals as well. On a larger scale, decreased emphasis on foreign oil stimulates the U.S. economy, but the cost benefits trickle down to the consumer by eliminating the reliance on gasoline to make the vehicle run.
Leading Edge with Jimmy Johnson is creating a series to educate viewers on the benefits of electric cars and will highlight the companies and organizations having an impact in this growing market sector.
The series is distributed to Public Television stations throughout the United States and is not distributed through PBS. Please visit the Leading Edge website at http://www.leadingedgeseries.com or email the producers at info(at)leadingedgeseries(dot)com for more information.
