US Web Proxy by Far the Best for YouTube Unblocking, Says Idcloak
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- idcloak releases a free US web proxy specifically for fans of YouTube residing outside the United States.
The release will excite many global netizens who are not able to access certain videos because of their foreign IP address. By accessing the proxy and selecting a US server from the More Options menu, they reach the required video through an idcloak American IP address. It will then play on the idcloak site, embedded into the webpage.
Speed tests against the service’s primary competitors have shown idcloak ranks first place for data transfer, with several other proxies failing to stream videos without multiple pauses.
“Our proxy is fast, stable and highly usable,” says idcloak’s Robin Welles. “This is vital for the age we are in: where proxy users have such heavy data demands. It used to be frowned upon for a user to access YouTube videos on a free proxy, since it would slow the server down for everybody else. Now, it is expected that a hundred users will be streaming videos simultaneously. It’s been up to us more dedicated proxy providers to ramp up their investment in server capacity and make sure our proxies are built for optimum efficiency and load.”
Unlike other unblocking services, the US web proxy is free and requires no account login or software to use.
On how idcloak intends to make a return on their investment, Welles had this to say: “As proxy usage grows in demand and application, our hope is that users will want high-power proxy capabilities integrated into their devices. We are two weeks away from launching a service which offers just that – the idcloak VPN proxy. We believe users of our web proxy will take a step up to our paid VPN service.”
