Heritage New Homes Sales Match 2006 Highs
Wake Forest & Rolesville, NC (PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- The master-planned community of Heritage reports improved sales numbers for the months of July and August – a time period typically plagued by low sales. The team sold 44 new homes during the two month period for the first time since 2006, which was the height of sales since the community launched in 2001.
Another positive sales indicator is a jump in the average new home sale price at closing to more than $400,000 in August. Evidence that the market is continuing to improve and homebuyers are freeing resources for a new home purchase. In fact, the on-site sales team of Coldwell Banker Howard Perry & Walston Builder Services is seeing an increase in sales and inquiries at higher price points.
“We’re hearing from buyers who have been waiting for the right moment to sell in order to have the financial resources to buy the perfect new home,” says Christy Beck, Senior VP/ Director of New Homes at Coldwell Banker Howard Perry & Walston Builder Services. “Plus, the business climate is also improving, which is influencing relocation purchases, especially in this area. All of these are positive indicators that new homes sales are poised to continue to improve.”
“We haven’t seen numbers like these in years,” says Andy Ammons, president of Ammons Development Group, Heritage developer. “Sales were at their highest in 2006. This July and August have matched the same time period in 2006. We’re on track to beat our sales projections this year—and that’s exciting news.”
Other key indicators from August 2013 Heritage sales include a 31% increase in closed homes. For more information on the community and its lifestyle offerings, please visit http://www.HeritageLiving.com.
