Fuentes and MHN Co-Owner Diane Puccio will provide insight into the causes, stages, and personal impacts of women's hair loss. Guest speakers will include 2011 Miss America Finalist and alopecia sufferer Kayla Martell, expert hair restoration surgeon Dr. Anthony Mollura, and Rhonda McCarthy, a nationally recognized expert in women's hair replacement. Attendees will receive a no obligation, confidential hair and scalp analysis. The Queens seminar will be held 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Monday, September 23rd at the Family Restaurant at 110-80 Queens Blvd, across from MHN’s Queens location. The Manhattan event will be held 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24th at the office of John Dearie at 515 Madison Avenue, 11th floor. RSVP required.
Creating resources: Hair loss affects over thirty million women in the US and most do not know where to turn. The impact of hair loss on women is particularly severe due to medical factors that cause it and the associated social stigma. After seeing thousands of women withdraw socially to suffer in silence, industry expert Rhonda McCarthy developed these seminars as a resource to connect women with information, resources, and one another. "We are a sisterhood of 30 million and we need to talk about it," McCarthy states. "We are committed to making this a very uplifting and educational experience. Any woman dealing with hair loss or thinning hair should know what her options are and that she is not alone! During this Women’s Hair Loss Seminar, women will have the opportunity to talk openly about their hair loss, to become educated on hair loss options, and to meet other women experiencing the same challenges.”
Support from Kayla Martell: At age 11, Kayla Martell began losing her hair due to alopecia. Despite nearly complete hair loss, she went on to become Miss Delaware in 2010, and 2011 Miss America Finalist. Martell knows all too well the struggles and emotional turmoil that come about when women lose their hair. Today, Kayla is an open and optimistic ambassador who demonstrates the potential for women to flourish after hair loss. She showcases the ability of the modern hair restoration industry to not just cover areas of hair loss, but to undetectably add length, style, beauty, and fullness. At both Women's Hair Loss Seminars, Kayla will share her personal experience of overcoming hair loss.
A surgical perspective: Dr. Anthony Mollura has an artist's eyes and surgeon's hands. After performing nearly 5,000 hair transplants, Dr. Mollura has developed profound expertise at creating permanent solutions for thinning hair. During the September 24th seminar, Dr. Mollura will share his insights into the medical causes of hair loss, help women understand whether hair loss is permanent or temporary, and explain the different medical options that are available to certain women experiencing hair loss.
This seminar is also an opportunity to receive a free, personal, and confidential hair and scalp analysis. Flora Fuentes of MHN notes, "We want women everywhere who are experiencing thinning hair or any level of hair loss to know that no matter what their level of hair loss – there is a solution. You can have your hair back, beautifully and naturally!" This is a very special opportunity for any woman who is interested in learning valuable information on hair loss. The expert professional hair loss resources extended to women in these seminars create the ideal discreet opportunity for any woman to become better informed about her choices. In the words of MHN Co-Owner Diane Puccio, "the Women's Seminars are important because they give personal insight into a sensitive subject."
