Milwaukee Retirement Community Alexian Village of Milwaukee Recertified by International Accreditors
(PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- Alexian Village of Milwaukee has been recertified by CARF for its excellence in service to their residents, staff professionalism and health care outcomes. Alexian Village was the first Milwaukee retirement community to receive this prestigious accreditation decades ago.
CARF is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to advance the quality of services received by residents through the promotion of industry best practices. Evaluation for accreditation includes an extensive 3-day survey of the continuing care retirement home, a process where documents are reviewed, services delivered are observed and residents are interviewed for their opinions. Comparisons are made with other facilities across the county and the accreditation awarded to Alexian Village validates the confidence among residents, staff and its Sponsor, Alexian Brothers Health System that the standards of excellence are being achieved at these senior apartments in Milwaukee.
Alexian Village’s CEO, Gary Mohn said, “I try to convey at the monthly team building meetings that we often take for granted what we do on a daily basis. As seen by others like CARF who are trained to look for those special skills, the spirit of the Alexian ministry truly shines through."
Alexian Village is a “continuing care” senior living community in Milwaukee offering Independent Apartments, Assisted Living, Rehabilitative Services, Skilled Nursing and Adult Day Services. 9301 N. 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI.
