New York City Independent Film Festival is very proud to announce that Doritos is one of their official sponsors. The tortilla chips brand, a favorite among moviegoers, will distribute promotional product to all the indie film lovers attending the film festival. The film festival is delighted to have Doritos joining their other sponsor, Mishcon de Reya, a Times Square law firm with an entertainment division. They are in talks with the organizing committee to hold a luncheon with the filmmakers to discuss the legal side of filmmaking, such as contractual, copyright, and publicity issues.
The film festival offers targeted advertising for companies with film lovers or filmmakers in their audience. There are opportunities to advertise to the filmmakers and more than 2500 attendees of the film festival through the programs that will be distributed throughout the weekend. There are various size options for advertising in the program, all of which can be found on the festival's site. The deadline to purchase ad space in the program and submit artwork is September 25th.
The tickets for the festival's official screenings are already on sale. Sessions are selling out quickly and more screenings times are being added, but they will not be able to fit in second sessions of all films, so the festival's organizers are advising that the audience purchase tickets to the films as early as possible. They will sell out.
The opening party on October 18th at the Producers Club will kick off the festivities with music, drinks, and more. The first set of screenings of the official selections will start that evening and go on until the closing party on October 20th. There is also a Music Video Night and Festival Party on October 19th. Additionally, this year there will be a series of Mark of Distinction screenings starting October 14th and running until October 17th leading up to the official selections. Tickets for the Mark of Distinction screenings and all the events can be viewed on their website.
