Effective on January 1, 2014, Randall will serve on the Political Affairs Committee and the Professional Standards Committee due to his valued expertise that has attributed to his outstanding career in Real Estate, stellar sales results and numerous accomplishments. Randall was selected for both of these appointments by the Texas Association of REALTORS leadership team, and both are effective for one year
Randall Selby’s appointment to the Political Affairs Committee will allow him create political affairs programs and support the association's grassroots lobbying efforts, including legislative calls-to-action, legislative visits, testimony at the Capitol, letter-writing and e-mail campaigns to legislators, as well as be involved with REALTOR®-supported candidates running for state and national offices. His unsurpassed knowledge and expertise on the Political Affairs Committee will help shape the future of Texas Real Estate. Through his appointment to the Political Affairs Committee, Randall will also serve on either the Election Grassroots Subcommittee or the Legislative Grassroots Subcommittee.
In addition to his contribution to the Political Affairs Committee, Randall Selby’s appointment to the Professional Standards Committee provides him the opportunity to ensure that REALTORS in Texas comply with the rules and regulations set. On the Professional Standards Committee, Randall will review and determine if ethics complaints or arbitration requests warrant a hearing, conduct hearings and make decisions on matters involving ethics or arbitration.
With these appointments, Randall strives to ensure that REALTORS adhere more to the rules and regulations and, therefore; improve the image of REALTORS in the State of Texas. He is hopeful that his tenacity and assurance that things are done right will improve TAR as well as provide a better experience for home buyers and sellers.
Licensed since 1987, Randall Selby has enjoyed immeasurable success throughout his career. From the beginning, he has achieved numerous recognitions and awards, from multiple quarterly and annual awards to ranking as a top agent in sales for the quarter in all of Northwest Harris County, as well as several company Hall of Fame nominations. Most recently, Randall was recognized by Connect Realty for his first and second quarter sales, where he ranked within the top ten agents companywide for the number of units sold, sales volume, and achieved well over $1 million in sales for each quarter. With at least 70 awards accumulated over the years, Randall’s exceptional level of service, industry knowledge, and work ethic are undoubtedly validated.
As the State Broker of Texas, Randall is instrumental in recruiting and assisting agents with all facets regarding their real estate transactions.
