Avure Rolls Out New HIP Designs for Small-Scale Production and Material Research
Vasteras, Sweden (PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- Avure Technologies' line of small Hot Isostatic Presses has been totally re-designed for greater customer convenience and faster installation. With a wide range of furnace designs featuring exceptional rapid cool functionality, including quench capability, these presses will be ideal for applications such as MIM, additive manufacturing, and the development of materials with enhanced properties.
All models share a skid mounting system to the factory floor for easy on-site mobility, and a common easy-to-use PLC-based electronic control system with touch screen interface and data acquisition and reporting capabilities.
Using modularized sub-systems with a variety of options, Avure has the capability to engineer presses that meet specific customer needs. Design modules include load lifting arms on all units and overhead crane assemblies on the larger models. All sub-systems are pre-interconnected to provide a complete free-standing production station.
Standard features include Avure's exclusive QUINTUS® wire-wound pressure vessel and yoke frame, selection of six pressure vessel sizes with work zone diameters from 90 mm (3.54") to 288 mm (11.33"), choice of 1500 bar (22,000 psi) or 2070 bar (30,000 psi) maximum pressure limits, and temperature levels of 1,400°C (2550 F) or 2,000°C (3630 F).
All units, even the largest with extensive load handling structures, can be re-configured to fit in a single transportable container. With the interconnected modules, installation and setup time is greatly reduced. For more information, visit http://www.avure.com
