Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- Continuing a strong commitment to humanitarian relief, Utah-based company eFoodsDirect is setting its sites even higher with a new campaign that reinforces it mission – to empower people to help each other by helping themselves.
September is National Preparedness Month, with several organizations pounding the drum of information to raise awareness across the country, but eFoodsDirect is taking a different path. Through a more direct campaign, eFoodsDirect is helping to place a one-person, seven-day emergency food supply (called the ePack7) in every home for every person in that home.
How will eFoodsDirect accomplish this?
The company has created the new ePack60 emergency preparedness pack, a two-month supply of food for one person. During National Preparedness Month, every person who purchases the ePack60 will have the opportunity to help start the disaster preparedness program of two other people by sending each of them an ePack7 free of charge.
“Every person in America should have peace of mind through food independence in times of hardship. eFoodsDirect has a responsibility to help make this a reality,” said Steve Schenk, owner of eFoodsDirect. “It is the patriotic duty and the moral responsibility of every American to take care of themselves, which will allow relief organizations to focus on those who really need the aid.”
This ePack60 campaign creates, for the first time ever, the opportunity to build a national neighborhood of people helping people as they care for themselves.
