Los Angeles Art Gallery, Linus Galleries Opening: Silent Communication
Pasadena, California (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- Los Angeles art gallery Linus Galleries is pleased to present the upcoming live art show "Silent Communication" with an opening reception in Pasadena, California on October 4, 2013. The "Silent Communication" art exhibit is comprised of seven different themes that diversify the idea behind the title of the show. Artists from all over the world interpret their take on unspoken interaction in this powerful collection of contemporary artwork which reminds us that a form of expression does not always have to be loud to be heard.
Some of the artists participating in the Los Angeles art gallery show include seasoned Northern California painters Stanislav Groz and Doug Lawler who both have gained worldwide attention during their artistic careers. Other talents showcased represent artists from a variety of U.S cities as well as countries such as Israel, Argentina and Norway. Southern California watercolor artist Tina Dille will be demonstrating her creative process and singer-songwriter and 2012 BuskerFest winner, Alyssandra Nighswonger, will be performing live throughout the evening. The popular food truck, Get Toasted, will have their tasty Asian fusion sandwiches available for purchase.
The Silent Communication exhibit is made possible by the art galleries’ curator Linnea Lenkus. As an artist herself, with a specialty in fine art photography, Lenkus says, "I embrace all creative outlets that lead to an interaction with the audience and an ability to grasp their interest with innovative and inspiring artwork." In addition to having two Los Angeles photography studios, in Pasadena and Long Beach, Lenkus states that she aimed for Linus Galleries to be "a different kind of art gallery". Rather than focusing on only established artists, Linus Galleries thrives on showcasing both emerging and internationally known artists in the same juried art exhibition to blur the lines of artistic success and focus on creative passion.
"Silent Communication" is the last live art show of the year for Linus Galleries. The art gallery will be busy in the coming months posting their next set of diverse call for entries and will continue to judge and announce their online art show exhibits. The next live art exhibit for this contemporary art gallery is set for February 2014.
