Founded by Peter H. Reynolds, Dot Day’s mission is to help all learners reach their full potential in more creative ways. Peter has dedicated his life to using the power of storytelling to connect with, support and inspire kindred spirits who understand that creativity is key for learning.
Making their own mark, Monkeying Around has joined the dot club community with a new Celebri-dot created by Kalvitis to help Reynolds’ mission develop and share more creative ways to support teachers and students.
"Every single Dot created is as individual as the person who created it. Within each Dot you can see a person's personality and style, and maybe even a little of their hopes and dreams," says Kalvitis.
Kalvitis’ love of dots began with his fondest memories as a child solving his "Big Book of Dot-to-Dots". As a commercial artist, David pledged to use his talent for something people were going to enjoy. Since creating the publishing house, Monkeying Around, David now spends his time creating fun and challenging dot-to-dot illustrations.
