(PRWEB) September 15, 2013 -- Reverse emergency broadcasting is used in scenarios such as evacuation notices, missing person alerts, crime prevention, community notifications and weather alerts, but can also be used in a variety of other roles including surveying, polling and voting.
After assisting both a university and a local council to deploy a notification system using voice broadcasting, the system was further developed for its emergency broadcasting role and bundled with commercial installation, training and support services under the Emerzia brand.
Arezqui Belaid, the Technical Director for Emerzia, commented that “With the duty of care incumbent on schools, councils and other organisations, we feel that Emerzia offers a cost effective way of providing emergency notifications for a range of organisations.”
Emerzia can scale to make millions of calls per hour and includes answering machine detection and SMS broadcasting, and intuitive web interface usable from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
Emerzia is offered in three variants from an entry level budget system catering for smaller schools and communities up to a distributed multi-server system for metropolitan areas.
