(PRWEB UK) 15 September 2013 -- Digital Sports Group today announced that The PFA profile for the professional footballer Gabriel Obertan has been been updated. The PFA player profiles provide a unique and unrivaled insight into a professional footballers career with full career stats, news biographies and features.
Gabriel Obertan signed for Newcastle on 9th August 2011, just days before the start of the 2011/12 campaign.
The winger arrived from Manchester United, and made his debut four days later in the season opener against Arsenal, coming off the substitutes' bench to replace Demba Ba at half-time.
Obertan didn't have to wait long for his full bow, however, as he was handed a start the following weekend away at Sunderland as United triumphed 1-0 at the Stadium of Light.
Oberthan has represented France at Under 16, Under 17, Under 18, Under 19 and Under 21 level. His first Under 21 cap came on 11th February, 2009, against Tunisia, and broke his duck on 31st March, 2009, in a friendly against England.
