Dolphin Sponsors Dragonfly Forest’s FORE the Children Charity Golf Tournament
West Chester, PA (PRWEB) September 17, 2013 -- Dragonfly Forest, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to offering a fun camp experience for children with Autism and other medical needs, will host the FORE the Children Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013 at the Springhaven Country Club in Wallingford, PA. The day promises to be one of golf, fun and forming new friendships in support of Dragonfly Forest’s innovative programs for children.
The Golf event fundraiser includes lunch, driving range, greens fees and golf carts, refreshments and gifts for the golfers. Prizes will be given out for the longest drive, closest to the pin, and for those with putting skills. A dinner event for all participants follows.

Dragonfly Forest is a year-round camp program for children with Autism and Medical Needs. The children who attend Dragonfly Forest have their lives disrupted by one of the aforementioned illnesses or disorders, and Dragonfly Forest allows them to do things they never dreamed they could do, in an environment that allows them to enjoy the activities of a traditional camp. From early morning swims and zip lining in the afternoon, to evening campfires and talent show contests, Dragonfly Forest encourages these children to be ‘just kids’.
Founded in 2002, and having served over 3,000 campers to date, the camp’s primary goal is to help each child feel like a regular kid. At camp each child forms strong bonds with other kids, and when they leave their week in paradise, they leave with a unique network of friends.
