R&B Divas Los Angeles' Kelly Price Sets Record on Mariah Carey Twitter Argument on AfterBuzz TV
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 13, 2013 -- (afterbuzztv.com)-- R&B Divas Los Angeles' Kelly Price made an appearance on AfterBuzz TV's R&B Divas Los Angeles aftershow Thursday night. In her appearance, Price sets record straight on her Mariah Carey twitter argument and Jennifer Lopez, responds to Wendy Willams' comments on Chante Moore's ex-husband Kenny Lattimore being gay, and talks about her face off with Lil' Mo.
Price sets record straight on Mariah Carey twitter argument:
In March 2013, Price Tweeted “I'm yrs late on this one but I'm looking at a concert on tv right now of a certain “singer” and asking myself what happened to ur voice?”
Fans immediately jumped to conclusion that the Tweet was in reference to Mariah Carey with whom Price has worked with in the past, having sang backup vocals at the start of her career.
When asked if the Tweet was about Mariah, she responded, "No." When suggested it could have been directed at Jennifer Lopez, Price responded by saying, "No, but I won't say who it was.”
Price responds to Wendy Willams' comments on Chante Moore's ex-husband Kenny Lattimore being gay:
"There was a lot of extra noise and cat calling and things that happened that got edited out of that segment among the people on stage...I feel like she redirected the question because she got an answer but then she got delayed responses behind the answer, and so she asked the question again,” Price says.
Price on her face off with Lil' Mo:
When asked if it was because of production or because of Lil Mo, Price says, "That was because of production. When I walked into the restaurant, [production] told me Dawn was waiting for me so she and I can talk about a fight that she and Lil' Mo had over the weekend, but when I walked in, Mo was sitting there."
Price reveals why all the divas weren't included in upcoming tour:
"It was the promoters choice.” She continues, “He's the one putting up the money. He's paying everybody. He's paying to travel everybody. He's paying the musicians. He's paying for everything to get the venue. He made the decision on what the ticket would be and he really wanted to bring everyone out but whether or not everybody admits it, there are some people who are not willing to go out on the road with other artists.”
Price reveals argument with Fred Thomas Jr was fake:
“There was a separate managers meeting after the meeting with everybody so that they could go through things with the managers and say, 'We know the ladies are opposed to the drama, but just get your ladies to go along with it, we'll keep it respectable...Go along with it, she's gonna give Fred problem. We're going to let this run...please just do what we ask...We will phase Fred out so we can get back to the business of making the monologue show for real,'” Price quotes.
