Emma is a great personality, and has brought energy and academic and practical experience to her present role. I can’t wait to see what she will achieve in an exhibition design consultancy role.
Poole, Dorset (PRWEB UK) 23 September 2013
Quadrant 2 Design, the Poole based exhibition and design agency, has promoted Emma Battman to Design Consultant.
She will now work within the DesignTeam, the creative group at Quadrant2Design who combine the skills of exhibition designers and design consultants, and who specialise in creating award winning exhibition stand designs.
Emma started at Quadrant2Design as a Project Manager, learning from the ground up the skills and water tight production methods that make the company sought after by exhibitors who demand ‘bullet-proof’ delivery of complex exhibition stand projects.
Emma's move to Design Consultant is part of Quadrant2Design's policy of recruiting design roles 'in-house', using the technical knowledge of project managers as a platform to deliver truly exceptional creative exhibition stand design to customers.
Time and time again Quadrant2Design appreciate the value of having 'on the ground' experience deployed to design and client facing roles. Design Director Chloe Anderton comments “We’ve learnt that too many of our competitors appoint aggressive sales type people to these roles. In our experience these are not always the best personalities to deal with complex design-related issues”.
Prior to working at Quadrant2Design Emma completed a specialised Events Management degree at Bournemouth University, gaining a 2:1. The skills she developed have enabled Emma to make an immediate impact with Quadrant2Design's clients and make her perfect for a design consultant role.
As part of Emma's degree she completed a 40 week internship at leading Organisers, Incisive Media, working within an events team who produce over 600 events a year across 16 key markets. During this time Emma gained exposure to the entire event implementation and management process. This invaluable experience has been key to Emma's success as a Project Manager. More importantly, it will now drive Emma's ability to deliver exceptional brand oriented creative designs in her new client facing role.
Alan Jenkins, Managing Director at Quadrant2Design said: "Emma is a great personality, and has brought energy and academic and practical experience to her present role. I can’t wait to see what she will achieve in an exhibition design consultancy role”.
