Susan Spindler was selected by Children's Medical Legacy as their pick for one of the Top Ten Women in Collin County.

Susan Spindler was honored as one of the Top Women in Collin County this past week. Neiman Marcus annually sponsors the event in which the leading children's charities in Collin County nominate a woman whom they believe has made a significant contribution to the welfare of children over their career in volunteerism. Susan was nominated by Children's Medical Center At Legacy and was one of nine women honored this year at the Top Women of Collin County Fashion Show Cocktail Reception at Neiman Marcus Willow Bend.

Susan has been an active member of the Women's Auxiliary to the Children's Medical Center, Legacy Chapter in Plano since 2009. The Women's Auxiliary is a non-profit organization with a mission to render efficient and effective service to all units of the Children's Medical Centers of Dallas and Plano campuses. "Among her many roles, Susan stepped up to create and chair the first annual Legacy of Love Benefit and Fashion Show which raised more than $150,000 for Children's at Legacy Campus," said Rebecca Egelston-Caso, former President of the Women's Auxiliary. "When Susan isn't busy running Susan Spindler Designs, a décor and event business, or serving as Collin County Ambassador for to RSVP Calendar, she is volunteering her time and talent with a number of organizations including Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County, the Junior League of Collin County, North Texas Food Bank, Plano Symphony Orchestra, Kids Matter International and Ski Plano."

Ms. Egelston-Caso went on to say. "She consistently strives to make a difference in her community and certainly has made a huge difference to Children's.”
