Liberty University Debuts Christian Living Book Imprint
Lynchburg, VA (PRWEB) September 16, 2013 -- Liberty University is launching an imprint for non-academic book titles: Liberty Mountain Publishing.
Liberty Mountain Publishing will specialize in Christian living publications, such as devotionals, self-help/inspirational books, novels, and children’s books.
“The new imprint provides a platform for Christian authors who have a credible and positive message,” said Ron Kennedy, Liberty’s senior vice president of marketing. “We are excited to meet the growing demand for Christian self-publishing opportunities.”
Liberty Mountain Publishing is accepting high quality manuscripts and has openings on its publication schedule for fall 2013 and spring 2014. Authors have access to editing, design, illustration, distribution, and press release services as well as a variety of publishing formats.
“Liberty Mountain Publishing will offer print and e-book publication opportunities to authors,” said Sarah Funderburke, Liberty University Press manager. “So whether you want to read your book on a Kindle, Nook, or iPad, or give a hardcover version to your friends, we can help you reach your goal.”
All published soft and hardcover books will be made available for sale on Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com, and e-books will be made available for Nook, Kindle, and Apple devices. Book interiors can be created in full color or black and white.
The university’s other publishing arm, Liberty University Press, will now focus solely on academic publications, particularly those that are used at the college level.
