“The Gateway Warrior Foundation is something all of us are really passionate about,” said Denny Leary, president, Gateway Warrior Foundation. “We are dedicated to raising awareness of the need to support our soldiers when they return from battle. What really makes our organization unique is that it was founded by St. Louisans, and the vast majority of the money we raise will stay right here in Missouri.”

The event will be hosted by former PGA TOUR golfer and CBS broadcaster, David Feherty. In addition to his golf broadcasting career, Feherty is the founder of Feherty’s Troops First Foundation ( which works to provide meaningful assistance to members of the military who have been wounded while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Feherty’s Troops First Foundation will also receive a portion of the profits from the Gateway Warrior Foundation Golf Benefit.

Feherty’s participation in the Gateway Warrior Foundation golf event demonstrates his passion for helping our Wounded Warriors get the support they desperately need when they return from service.
