Fun Vegetable Coloring Pages Have Been Published on Kids Activities Blog
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) September 19, 2013 -- Fun vegetable coloring pages are maybe just the right thing to get kids to eat more vegetables. Seasoned Moms are sharing their tips to help kids eat more vegetables. Kids Activities Blog is also featuring a fun DIY shape sorter project that will develop hand muscle strength.
The fun vegetable coloring pages are perfect for educating the kids about the importance of eating their veggies. The pages feature a variety of vegetables that can turn into a matching game. Try taking the sheets on a clip board to the local farmers market or grocery store to let the kids have a blast with a scavenger hunt.
Shape sorters make a fun learning tool, too. They help develop fine motor skills, introduce early math concepts, encourage problem solving, and teach organizational skills. But best of all, they are fun for toddlers.
Materials needed to build the shape sorter can be easily found around the house. They include a cardboard box, a pencil, a scissor, a variety of wooden blocks, markers to match the colors of the wooden blocks, white paper and tape.
Trace the shape of the wooden blocks with a pencil on the cardboard lid. Cut out the shapes. Wrap the box and lid with the white paper and cut out the holes. Trace each shape with the corresponding color of the block and ready is the activity.
